Well, of course. It's a weekend.

We have net at home again! FINALLY.

I have my new dress and new shoes for tomorrow. Wee!!! Pretty, PRETTY shoes. They are so droolable.

50th Church Anniversary!!! Alriiiight.

We had the motorcade this afternoon for the anniversary, and we had these white and yellow-cause-there-was-no-gold balloons on the cars. Not the kind that hangs on a stick, which is so dumb and fake and unimaginative, but the kind that floats when you let go and you can tie to your wrist. On the road, especially around Magsaysay Park kids kept ripping the balloons off!!! They got all our balloons, all five of them. I felt really bad because I wanted to bring them home. There was also this bundle of four, two yellow balloons on a stick and two white ones on a string that fell from one of the cars and landed on the street. It landed in front of a taxi, and bounced off. The taxi driver went to pick it up, take it home maybe, and caused a traffic jam in the other lane! That was so cute. But it is not cute getting your balloons stolen. It is so childish but I know how it feels to have your balloon stolen. They're much too lovely to lose. Not the "fake" kind of course.

But then again, we had those balloons by droves in the church. And those kids were either street kids or really poor, you could tell by their clothes and the way they looked. And they probably couldn't afford to have wonderful times to be able to afford balloons, that they stole. And that's more than getting upset over balloons I could always be around with.

But I can't believe I feel worse about not having balloons that them not being able to! I hate myself. I am a shallow, lily-livered person.
