Tuesday, Prince Charming, among others :p

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

I took the first half of the day on leave. My head was hurting so badly and I was running a fever and I'd rather miss the first half of the day of reviewing than miss than second where I should be passing a paper and taking an exam in Chinese. Oh, well.

I saw the end part of Take the Lead. I am so sorry I didn't get to see the whole thing. The movie was obviously so cool; I'd only seen it a few minutes to the end and I was already bopping out some dancing in the safety of my room.

I also saw Dead Man on Campus. It is deadpan hilarious!!! I love it. I know I've already seen the end of it before, but you can't really get the story unless you start it. There are these two roomies, Josh and Cooper. Josh is this super smart overachiever who is hanging on a scholarship to keep him in college while Cooper is this rich kid whose father owns this toilet cleaning company. He has to pass all his classes or else he'll be working in the field. Cooper, though, is a party-all-night not-attend-classes kind of guy and he rubs off on Josh, so both of them flunk their finals. Then they hear a story about how if your roommate commits suicide, because suicide is a big issue in their school, you get all straight A's. At first Cooper tried to convince Josh to commit suicide, but of course Josh wouldn't. Both very desperate, they devise a plan to find the most suicidal guy on campus and make him their roommate. They fail after 3 tries, one being a maniac, a manic-depressive, and a fake goth. They both decide to die, then quarrels over the whole thing. Josh tries to commit suicide, but only as an act to get them straight A's, because, he reasoned, you couldn't kick out a student who is suicidal. Even Cooper didn't know, and they both turned out okay. And by the way, they are both really cute in their own way.

I stayed dizzy the whole day, but I got through. Half of the time I'm talking with someone their words just float around my head like dead fish on water.

We had the Afternoon Concerto today at SocStud!!! I am so proud of Mommy!!! Heehee. :D

Oh yeah, and my Prince Charming saved me from something, but because this is the worldwide web, I will no wise reveal what or who.

And I came with to the Voice Classes today. Each student was supposed to sing a solo in front of the whole group. I expected I didn't have to sing because that was only my second session. Whatever to that. I sang second to the last. I lacked volume, technique, and confidence, according to the mighty Ms Darlene, no sarcasm included. Next week she's going to start what we were warned of from the first: she going to slap our inflated diaphragms. If it hurts, we're breathing wrong. If it bounces, congratulations then. Wala talagang consolation noh?

Plus!!! Sir Evans will be back tomorrow. He'll be back to teach the second batch of violin classes, but Maam Leah says he wants to hear us play. Oh, dear.

Hooboy.
Kheeit.
Hiii. Thanks for coming.

I'm a Biology major and it is ridiculously awesome.
