Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes,
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Moments so dear.
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure, measure a year?

In Daylights, in sunsets, in midnights
In cups of coffee
In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

In five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure
A year in the life?

How about love?
How about love?
How about love? Measure in love

Seasons of love.
Seasons of love.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes!
Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Journeys to plan.

Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes
How do you measure the life
Of a woman or a man?

In truths that she learned,
Or in times that he cried,
In bridges he burned,
Or the way that she died.

It's time now to sing out,
Tho' the story never ends
Let's celebrate
Remember a year in the life of friends
Remember the love!
Remember the love!
Remember the love
Measure in love
Seasons of love!
Seasons of love.

Oh you got to remember the love,
You know that love is a gift from up above
Share love, give love, spread love
Measure, measure your life in love.

-Seasons of Love, Rent

It struck me dumb.

Not the sensible, I'm going to be responsible and have to take care of myself way was I suddenly feeling chicken about graduating high school. Now, I am not sensible, smart Kit--I am made-for-TV, Seventh-Heaven Kit. [It is possible to be so many people at the same time. It's fun, too.] Ready? One, two, three:

My friiiiiiieeeeeends.

And don't you give me crap about meeting other people and and making new friends and people coming and going in your life, dang nabbit. I know it's a fact of life, but friends are more than facts. They're people you keep in your heart. [That was TOTALLY Seventh Heaven on me! I haven't even seen Seventh Heaven--or at least understood it!]

And even though I'm not sure of who my friends are (some, anyway), I know there are those I really hold dear. And I'll miss them terribly. Really terrible. I can't even keep imagining, it hurts.

I have a year more to spend. I resolve to make the best of it. :]

PS. That was quick epiphany, wasn't it?
PPS(or PSS, or PPSS, or whatever there is.). Epiphany? My gosh. I have to stop reading Twilight!
Kheeit.
Hiii. Thanks for coming.
I'm Kit. I'm the girl kind of Kit.
I love blue and noodles and stars and barefootedness.
I'm a Bible Baptist. I wear skirts ALL the time and have lots of heels and love J-e-s-u-s.
I'm SEVENTEEN. I can't believe I'm so old.
I'm a Biology major and it is ridiculously awesome.
