Fantastic. Fan-FREAKING-tastic.

Just when the connection was fast enough to download 2 House episodes, it's gone. Like POOF! I don't know exactly what happened, but this is a pretty fast mood downer.

The rain is lovely this afternoon. It's bringing in this cold wind (or then again, maybe it was the wind that brought the rain) that is absolutely unbelievably comforting. There's no hot air smell coming up from the ground, just the smell of clean, fresh rain. Amazing. The wind's better than the AC.

I saw this movie, Our House, on Hallmark. It's about this rich old lady who takes in homeless people. Even when she got sued by her neighbors and even her daughter was against her, she wanted to give those people a chance at a better life that they were not given the right to have. Catch it sometime. It was so beautiful. One of the people she took in, Billy, aspired to become a teacher and write a book. In the book she did eventually write, she said something like they were not homeless people; they were houseless people. A house is made of four walls and a roof but a home is made of love that fills the space in between. And whether the house is small or large, it is the love that they carry in their hosue that makes a home. The next showing on Hallmark would be on May 26, Monday, 3PM.
