Gloomy skies. Davao was a gray muck of nothing but mud and puddles and people falling into muds and puddles. The sky was frowning down on us, it seemed. But everywhere, you can see faces smiling, feet hopping, never happier at the unexpected gift before them.
Walang klase. Yeah, babeeeeee.Davao City, the city of forever sunshine, postponed classes because of bad weather. Heck, we don't even get storms, kaya wala nang ordinance about mga signal signal sa handbook. This is, like, history. Marami kasing bahay na binaha, kaya we're free!!!
This is really a blessing. I only got 5 hours sleep, and not comfortably, I might add. Sakit nga ng ulo ko eh. I don't know if I could have faced the whole 10-hour day. People at school looked really dumb, all prepped up for school, standing around in puddles, calling their cars to come back. Sabi nga namin, sayang plantsa, sayang baon, sayang effort! Yung iba pa nga, sayang daw ligo! BUT. As if we weren't all smiling when we said that. ;p
Kheeit.
