Last Sunday, after services, my parents stopped by Mercury Drug. They all went in, I waited. Inside, through the glass doors, I can see this man walking around the counters. What made him special, by the way, which makes him bloggable, half of it is because he was BALD. Now, I've seen a lot of bald heads in my life, it's not like it was a first or anything. But it was so remarkably shiny and globular and perfect and completely hairless. I couldn't not stare. It was jaw-dropping.

So, what's the other half of interest of this guy?

Well, other half probably would be the best word to contain it, since his head is on top and his legs are DUH. Now, what fascinated me was that whatever utter lackness of hair on his head, where he was exactly supposed to have them, he has a huge abundance of on his legs. They were so thick, as a whole and as strands on their own, that being about a hundred feet away at whatever vision light in the night could offer, I could see the hairs sticking up, like shriveled pea strings on static.

I was entertained by his fabulous hair (and lack thereof) the whole time I was waiting for the return of the rest of my family, who fought over banana chips and luncheon meat inside. I was not aware of the time that had transpired, but it must have been long, for they all came up to me saying "kawawa naman, pagod na," falsely interpreting the steadiness of my eyes for dull listlessness and tiredness and stress, when I was actually trying to sum up the thoughts that occured within me while I wondered over the mysterious man's unusual rate of hair growth. I was not in the least bored, no, not at all. ;p
