Hands down, the best place to go in the middle of August is to Davao. Simply, Kadayawan Festival. In fact, it should be planned ahead and looked forward to.



Tomorrow will mark the official start of the Kadayawan festival. To find out more about the celebration and even updates on the events, schedules and the routes for parades, HERE is the official Kadayawan committee's website. :D

I am not a pure-bred Davaoeña, and therefore have no right to take pride in this as much as I do, but dang, Davao knows how to throw a festival! I've been in on the celebration first-hand, and it truly is a fascinating experience.

I wonder if I can charge Duterte for the ad?
